S.L.A.M. is interested in the details of Dr. Dennar’s suspension with the understanding that the culture at Tulane has allowed for a physician and her residents to undergo unacceptable abuses for the better part of a decade.
All existing reporting systems and structures failed to stop those abuses or to hold anyone to account.
We are interested in changing this culture from its roots and growing a better, stronger Tulane University School of Medicine.
S.L.A.M. is a collaboration of TUSOM Chapters of SNMA, LMSA, APAMSA and MSPA to represent marginalized and underrepresented populations in medicine and advocating for racial, economic, and gender equity at Tulane University School of Medicine (TUSOM)
